Non-resident Nepalis (NRNs) and friends of Nepal in Australia have called for proper environment to invest in Nepal.
During a consultation organised by the embassy of Nepal and its consulate in Victoria on Saturday to mark the 50th anniversary of Nepal-Australia bilateral relations and promote Nepal Tourism Year 2011, the diaspora expressed its desire to invest in Nepal. They said the investment could be financial or knowledge.
The one-day consultation dwelt on around several aspects of possible investment areas either channelised through NRN or other organisations.
