Manchester (US) might stop taking refugees

Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas wants to stop new refugees coming to the city for two years.
The city has been a major hub for the International Resettlement Program, which allows hundreds from around the world to find refuge from political persecution, ethnic cleansing and natural disasters.
But Gatsas said the city needs a chance to catch up.
“We have an opportunity to say, ‘OK, let’s catch our breath for a couple of years,'” said Gatsas.
