World Happiness report

Days Before Bhutan hosts the UN conference on Happiness in New York, the Earth Institute has published a new report on global happiness. It has not included Bhutan in the list but recent European Social Survey said that average happiness of Bhutanese equals to 6.05 in scale of 0 to 10. This is lower than the average ESS demarcation. Bhutan’s happiness scale is converted to 5.65 by Gallup Poll for comparison with neighbouring countries. Thus, Bhutan is rated little happier than Nepal, Bangladesh and China.
