Anthrax in Trongsa (breaking news)

There are unconfirmed reports from Trongsa district of anthrax outbreak since a few days. The report comes from a remote village in the district called Willing.

With reports coming to the district headquarters, the district authority has dispatched a medical team for investigation.

Several domestic animals had died of the disease in Ngangla village in Zhemgang district in July 2010. And at least one person had died of the epidemic in September of the same year in the district.
