Karma Rangdol graduated as Bachelor of Arts with English honors from St. Stephens College, Delhi University, Delhi. He underwent multiple training in insurance and banking matters.
He has 25 years of experience of insurance and banking. He served in four prominent Financial Institutions (FIs) of the country in various positions and was Managing Director of two FIs; Bhutan National Bank (erstwhile Unit Trust of Bhutan), and Bhutan Development Finance Corporation Limited. He pioneered and became instrumental in giving the new lease of life to Unit Trust transforming into Bhutan National Bank. He is married and they have three sons.

Tshering Tenzing completed his diploma in Electrical Engineering in 1984 from Royal Bhutan Polytechnic, Dewathang and Bachelors of Engineering in Telecommunication in 1995 from the University of Bologna, Italy. He has obtained several certificates in Telecom Technologies specializing himself expertly in the highly concerned cyber world. From Section Officer in 1985, he rose to the position of Chief Information and Media Officer under Ministry of Communications. He was responsible for developing ICT policy paper, guidelines for cable TV, Infocom and Media act, and code of ethics for journalists. He is married and they have three daughters.
