Naichu, 47, from Saling geog was elected to the National Council from Mongar in 2007. He has investments in various establishments in the country. He worked as Regional Secretary, Bhutan Chamber for Commerce & Industry (BCCI), Mongar, Bhutan in 2007, Deputy Director (Head), Adm.& Finance Division, BCCI, Thimphu, Bhutan in 2005-2007, Program Officer, BCCI, Thimphu, Bhutan in 2000-2005, Project Officer, BCCI, Thimphu, Bhutan in 1998-2000 and HRD Officer, BCCI, Thimphu, Bhutan in 1995-1998. Born on June 10, 1965 in Masangdaza, Saling, Mongar, he completed B.Com from Sherubtse College, Kanglung, Tashigang, Bhutan in 1991 and Diploma in Business Studies from Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec), New Zealand in 2004

 

Tshering Wangchen
A 33-year-old educationist from Narang gewog in Mongar, known to his high school and college mates for his leadership cameo roles, has worked as teacher for eight years and resigned as vice principal of Yebilaptsa middle secondary school to join politics.

His father had earlier served in the Royal Advisory Council.

He also served as the president and secretary of the student body in Sherubtse for about three years during his college days. With a bachelor’s degree in Dzongkha and English from Sherubtse college in 2003, and a post-graduate diploma in education from Samtse college of education, Tshering taught at Taktse MSS, Motithang HSS, besides serving as the vice-principal of Yebilaptsa MSS.

He also served with the education ministry for a year.
